Adel Haghani

Adel Haghani is a research fellow with the Institute of Automation, University of Rostock, Germany. He received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany, in 2012. His research interests include process control, machine learning and fault diagnosis.


Hao Luo

Hao Luo received his B.E. degree in electrical engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University, China, in 2007, M.Sc. and the Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering and information technology from University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany, in 2012 and 2016 respectively.

He is currently an associate professor in School of Astronautics, Harbin Institute of Technology. His research interests include model-based and data-driven fault diagnosis, fault-tolerant systems and their plug-and-play application on industrial systems.


Abdul Qayyum Khan

Abdul Qayyum Khan is an associate professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He obtained the Ph.D. degree in Engineering Sciences from the Institute of Automatic Control and Complex Systems, Germany in 2010.

His research interests include fault diagnosis, process monitoring, linear/nonlinear observer design, robust and optimal control design, and nonlinear systems.
